Lone Tree Farms is a 4^th generation, family run agri-business based in the fertile valley of the Fouriesburg district in the Eastern Free State. Brothers Doug and Mike are the operational managers of their respective divisions being fruit and crops, whilst their sister Gill is the head of finance. Their father Guybon is still involved and provides guidance and experience on the continually expanding company. The fruit division consists mostly of apples, based on 2 different sites, and also has packing and cooling facilities that are used for other growers as well. The crops division includes wheat, maize and dry beans on dryland rotation and potatoes under pivot irrigation. There is a grain sales division that stores, cleans and packs produce from the farm and from external sources and sells directly to customers.
